Etimad platform: a comprehensive electronic portal for government contracting services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Etemad platform is a national electronic platform launched by the Saudi Ministry of Finance in 2019. It aims to facilitate and enhance the efficiency of government contracting processes in the Kingdom by providing a wide range of electronic services to all government agencies and the private sector, including:

For buyers (government agencies):

Competition management: This is through publishing competitions electronically, receiving and evaluating offers, and awarding contracts.
Contract management: This is through following up on contract implementation, issuing payment orders, and recording observations and complaints.
Budget management: This is done by linking the Etemad platform to a financial system to follow up on financial appropriations for projects.
Reports and statistics: To obtain reports and statistics about government contracting operations.
For suppliers (private sector):

Search for competition opportunities: by searching for announced competitions according to their field of work.
Applying for competitions: electronically by attaching the required offers and documents.
Follow up on price offers: by viewing the status of their offers and receiving notifications of developments.
Electronic signing of contracts: This is done electronically without the need for the company representative to be present.
Receiving their financial dues: electronically by linking the Etemad platform to the SADAD system for financial transfers.
The Etemad platform aims to achieve many benefits, including:
